To create For Crying out loud, Maarten Vanden Eynde assembled little balls of plastic, also called Mermaid’s tears, on the beaches of Greece. He presents them displaced on a measurement scale in 3 different configurations, which show the weight of the plastic in the ocean, the volume of the Mediterranean Sea where he found the plastic and the number of stars in the Milky Way.
