Three sculptural elements are recast from the objects of the video Revolution – a gun, a hammer and a knife – in solid bronzed copper, placed in sleek plexiglass boxes. Contaminated Belief contrasts the polished finish of museums’ framing of history with the memories of trauma and violence symbolised through these tools of oppression.
