Monsanto Intervention is a series of redacted and collaged postwar magazine advertisements for the notorious Monsanto Chemical Company. Stolle’s deconstruction and rearrangement of the ads’ words and images reveal true corporate agendas. Her altered, and often poetic texts, hint at historical events, their blacked-out omissions recalling official documents redacted by the US government.
