I CAN’T WATCH ANOTHER BABY DIE is a painting presenting a collage of photographs, screenshots of articles, comments and video games, memes and other fragments of visual culture. These references form a cluttered yet vivid archive of the artist’s pain and indignation, bearing witness to the endless cycles of violence, loss, and indifference. The work captures the overwhelming saturation of tragedy in contemporary life, and the breaking point at which witnessing becomes unbearable.
