Force Directed Predictions is project that visualizes the entanglement of art markets, artificial intelligence, and macroeconomic forces. Developed in collaboration with XLabs.ai and financial analysts David Layton, Drs. Radhika and Travis Dirks, the project employs algorithms trained on art market data to generate correlation maps. These maps depict how art price fluctuations relate to broader political and economic indicators such as employment rates and literacy levels. By rendering these complex data relationships as abstract visualizations, the work interrogates the predictive logic of financial systems and the speculative nature of value in the art world.
