“Traded” is a collage project that repurposes chemical company stock certificates to examine the damaging histories of the pesticide industry. Letraset symbols have been superimposed over abraded Dow Chemical Company, Monsanto Company, and I.G. Farben stock certificates, creating palimpsests that hint at an entrenched financial past while graphically pointing to current industry turmoil.
