The burned sculpture A Muse To Abuse critiques fascism and imperialism, depicting a reptilian figure in a right- wing salute—a symbol of hatred to be mocked and destroyed. Embellished with fabric talismans traditionally used to protect children from evil spirits, the work transforms the effigy into a collective expression of unity and defiance.

The sculpture was made in collaboration with Ka Cezar Fadul and with the support of Bellas Artes. The fabric talismans were made in collaboration with Tekla Tamoria.
